The UQDB floating adapters attaches to the male quick disconnect to provide the necessary X, Y and Z axis float to ensure proper alignment of the male quick disconnect with the rack manifold. The Z axis float can be combined with a microswitch to indicate the proper connection of the quick disconnect couplings.
