Meet the new E3 Compact MIM compression latch, a new take on our line of E3 compression latches that features enhanced ergonomics, added safety and convenience features, and a slim, modern latch head that may turn a head or two.

Less Effort from You, More Security from Us

The E3 Compact MIM features an ergonomic 180 degree actuation range, making it easier to open or close than your normal E3 compression latch. This reduced range has no impact on performance, so you get all the security of an E3 with around 7% less actuation effort.

Safety Written All Over its Face

Ever wondered whether you left a panel open? Had to give the handle a quick turn to make sure it was secure? Forget that. The E3 Compact MIM shows you if it’s open or closed with color-coded markings etched into the latch face. These let you know at a glance if a compartment is open or closed.

MIM’s the Word

As if the other improvements weren’t enough, we found a way to make all of this using Metal Injection Molding (MIM). That means lower production costs, and more savings that we can pass on to you. Oh, and if you are worried about the latch looking a bit rough around the edges, forget it. The E3 Compact MIM is beautifully polished after production for a finish that will catch your eye from across the room. (Or just make it easier to see where you open the panel.)

The latch head is also only 4mm thick (compared to a normal E3’s 6.4mm), which just adds to its sleek look.
