Pune Facility Grand Re-Opening

Southco is pleased to announce the official opening of its expanded facility in Ranjangoan, Pune, India. On July 4th, Thomas Mehler, President, and Su Harding, VP Human Resources Development visited Pune, India to attend the grand opening of the facility after the completion of construction work. Celebrating with our team and some special guests, Thomas Mehler officially re-opened the Southco Pune facility in traditional Indian style. The new facility has tripled available office space and doubled the manufacturing space and distribution footprint, positioning Southco for future growth in the fastest growing market in the world. This added capacity is being fully utilized to meet the rapid growth of the Indian market. 

After a decade of phenomenal performance in the Indian market, Southco India’s increased production capacity, coupled with continued investment in our people growth in India will allow Southco to better serve our local and global customers better. Southco is committed to continuing to bring new manufacturing technologies to India and produce more parts locally to support the “Make in India” initiative of the Indian Government.
